WAIR
WAIR is a PIR motion sensor designed to be installed above the door to detect movements in front of the door. Working in conjunction with Climax’s wandering prevention solution, PWSR, WAIR has relatively narrow and specific coverage pattern, which makes it ideal for an application such as access control.
For example, in a nursing home, the door of a patient’s room can be opened when both signals of WAIR and a nurse’s geo pendant are received by the server connected to PWSR. This mechanism provides convenience while offering caregiving, and prevents the nuisance that all doors are opened when a nurse or a staff who has the access to all areas walks down the corridor.
With two adjustable sensitivity levels, WAIR offers convenience for usage. WAIR can be deployed at doorways, corridors, hallways and passages in hospitals, nursing homes, and senior care facilities.
